I’m Johnathan Sexton, the proud owner of Flesh Tamers Fitness. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

Before starting my business, I have nineteen years of experience in IT as a programmer, project manager, senior manager, and principal technical program manager. I am a certified project manager (PMP) and Scrum Master (CSM). 

In regard to my fitness qualifications, I am a certified personal trainer with the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) with an additional certification in performance enhancement.

I established Flesh Tamers Fitness two years ago to help people lose weight, become heart-healthy, increase lean muscle mass, build self-confidence, and extend their mission for God’s glory.

Why have I been so successful?

I enjoy helping people achieve their health and fitness goals, and showing my clients how to incorporate a healthy lifestyle into their busy schedules is my favorite part. In my opinion, the goal itself is simply proof of a focused effort. The journey to the goal brings the change you want to achieve.

As an individual, my belief that fitness is a whole-self focus on living with purpose is what sets me apart from others. Your mind, body and spirit must align to reach your ultimate goals.

I attribute my success to my faith and hard work. My commitment to do what God tells me has led me this far, and I’m sure he will see me through.

Serving my clients and seeing so much positive change has given me immense satisfaction over the years.

What do I do in my downtime?

When I am not at work, I personally love to run and lift weights to relax. To me, these are stress relievers that I use to reduce the impacts of the daily grind on my mind and body.
